I want to announce big changes happening this week in our office! ABQ Family Chiropractic is rebranding our logo and colors. These changes reflect a desire to express our mission statement and better serve our community and practice members.
Although at first glance, the ABQ Family Chiropractic logo appears as vertebrae on the spine, its true meaning is a family of three with arms outstretched. Most people associate chiropractic care only with the spine and musculoskeletal pain and discomfort. However, our focus has always been on promoting healing and health of the whole person. We achieve these results through neurologically-focused chiropractic care and looking for answers beyond symptoms.
Our logo’s next point of emphasis is on the family structure. At ABQ Family Chiropractic, we believe that families who get adjusted together have better results. Throughout my 20+ years of practice, I have witnessed incredible transformations of families. Chiropractic care, especially for children, yields amazing results. I wouldn’t have this perspective without enduring my own struggles as a dad of a child with health challenges.
After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2004, I wanted to pursue specialty training in sports medicine, however, this changed with the birth of my son, Colt. He was extremely colicky as an infant and was struggling developmentally. I wanted answers and to help him in any way possible. I enrolled in training with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and sought mentorship with seasoned pediatric chiropractors. Colt’s health improved dramatically with pediatric-focused chiropractic care. Around this same time, I started seeing the benefits of chiropractic care on my wife during her subsequent pregnancies. Fast forward 20 years, my kids are healthy, happy and fully grown. Reflecting on their childhood, I can honestly say they did not struggle with frequent or prolonged sickness or become plagued by chronic illness which is all too common in children.
The current epidemic of childhood chronic illness and sensory challenges have been my motivating factor in continuing to specialize in pediatric chiropractic. Chiropractic care changes lives and I want more people to have access to such a powerful tool. I want ABQ Family Chiropractic to be the leading pediatric healthcare facility in the southwest. The sooner we can work with a child, the bigger of an impact it will make in their lives. Our new rebranding and promotion of our brand image, reflects this important mission.
To celebrate this exciting change, we have a free t-shirt for all active practice members-from babies to adults! Please stop by the front desk during your next appointment for your t-shirt. We appreciate and value your commitment to our practice! We also want to give a huge thank you to everyone who made this transition possible. I am filled with so much gratitude.
Yours in health,
Dr. Phil
